Just Wingin it Hatchery started in 2018 when Kristin raised her own bobwhite quails. Instead of selling her birds to hunt clubs, that fall she decided to keep most of her birds and breed them to sell baby chicks! Since then, Just Wingin it has expanded to sell many breeds of poultry by customer request! Just 20 miles north of Madison located off Hwy 60 near Lodi, Wisconsin, we specialize in hatching and shipping day old baby chicks including bobwhite and coturnix quail, chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, pheasants, and chukars. Our baby chicks ship safely across the US since 2018.  Our breeds are family friendly, easy to raise, and great for backyard flocks.

Kristin has over 15 years of experience in the poultry and gamebird industry and specializes in poultry consultation including problem solving in areas of production, disease, and business management. She graduated from UW Madison with a degree in Poultry Science in 2012 and has worked for a variety of poultry companies including Organic Valley, MacFarlane Pheasants, and Big Gain/Furst McNess Company.

With the purchase of our birds, you can feel confident they are healthy and strong as we are an NPIP Certified, AI Clean, Pullorum Clean, and SE monitored hatchery. We bascially test our breeders for everything to make sure you are getting healthy chicks.
